This may be my first post about Blue & White, but it certainly won’t be my last!
Arguably the most timeless color combination out there, blue and white can be found in my closet, my home decor, and on my table top. It can act as both the neutral foundation that brings other details and patterns to life, or it can be the star!
And while there are other duos I love, nothing feels more right to me than blue and white.
In honor of newest Blue & White collection from Susan Shaw, I rounded up some current blue and white favorites that can find their way to your doorstep!
Wearing Blue & White
These little blue and white chinoiserie drops by Susan Shaw are such an easy and subtle statement to make. The coin earrings I’ve had for a few years and I love how you can layer her collections into your style, for instance I paired these earrings with the new blue and white stacking bracelets! And in a very 2020 move, you could pair these blue and white baubles with a blue and white mask. This blue and white block print tunic top is an absolute steal and available on Amazon prime! I wear it as a cover-up but it’d be so cute styled with white jeans. And I’ve always loved the Gingko leaf motif in home decor so I knew I’d love these earrings! Come to find out the Gingko leaf is symbolic of peace, hope and longevity which explains its enduring presence in design. Now more than ever we need a little bit of that, so grab your Gingkos and say a prayer!
Blue & White At Home
The biggest steal in this group is the hand soap cannister, for under $10 at Belk. It is just like the one we have in our master bath and I love it! I’ve been looking for a pretty umbrella stand and this one is budget friendly and beautiful! These felt-backed coasters would make a great little gift – just pair it with a bottle of wine or some pretty glasses and you’re good to go! The hand towels are another great deal and I am seriously contemplating replacing all of ours with these. The blue raffia woven placemats are a great way to add my favorite color and texture to a tablescape and would work with any seasonal color palette. The lamp is priced like you wouldn’t believe, same with these sheets and the quilt! By the time I was done hunting around I was ready to make my entire house blue and white, but you have you stop somewhere. (Or do you? Asking for a friend …)

Hi,
Greetings from “barely in Florida” Tallahassee! I thought Tallahassee would be a little more college-y like Athens, GA where I grew up. It is a totally different vibe, but my husband is 4th generation deep here, so I guess it is home.
I listened to Patricia’s Podcast today on my weekly exercise walk and you were the topic. I spent the weekend in Atlanta at Lydia’s Supper Club Soiree with Patricia and a gang of fun, creative ladies.
I checked out your blog and I just love it. So applicable, but with a very put together, glam vibe.
Well done!
So, I am back to cooking for the freezer and getting tables ready for Thanksgiving. Hemingway had the Moveable Feast, Lisa has the “Throw it in the car” Feast. We decided to move the party down to the beach. My girls are away at college and going to their former Grandmother’s in Highlands, NC. To cold for me!’
I just wanted to give you some props on your website. Life is too short not to be nice!
Have a great season!
Kind Regards,
Lisa
