If you haven’t heard of Sail To Sable yet, get ready to fall in love with their classic clothes and comfortably preppy styling. Perhaps more important to me is their effort toward size inclusivity. Most of their pieces go up to an XXL which converts to roughly an 18-20, and the size I prefer for their fit.
Here in Florida I’ve always yearned for the New England autumn that will never be our reality. If I were to dress for the fall I want, I’d be in chunky sweaters and tweed jackets. But the fall I have means a cold snap of 80 degrees right now so I’ve grown accustomed to getting creative. That’s why the Linear Textured Mock Neck Dress is the perfect option.
I’ve styled it a few ways, with bare legs for now, but it could totally be paired with leggings or tights for cooler temps. Throwing on one of my favorite old Talbot’s vests was my way of bringing in another color, and the layered look I love, without passing out! Nothing is easier for every day style than tennis shoes, and these Tretorn’s are tried and true.
I’ve pulled together a few more of my favorite options, including some mark downs – like the ric rac tunic dress I didn’t get but have been regretting! Pretty close to buying it for next spring and summer!
