Over the years, the Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World has been a special place for our family. We first visited this resort during a 2019 trip to Disney, and we’ve been hooked ever since. We’ve ventured to the Four Seasons, Orlando for birthday celebrations, mom and dad getaways, trips to Disney World, family vacations, and more. Most recently, we spent some time there during the girls’ winter break. During this visit we had the chance to experience their new Pasta and Play dining offering, which I’m so excited to share about today!
About The Four Seasons, Orlando
The Four Seasons, Orlando isn’t just any run-of-the-mill resort. It has been ranked the #1 Best Hotel and #1 Best Resort in Walt Disney World by the U.S. News and World Report for 10 consecutive years. Not only that, but it’s also ranked the #2 resort in Florida and #4 in the country. There are so many reasons why this resort is well-deserving of these titles. Oftentimes when we visit, we do so with the intent of staying on-property as much as possible, rather than venturing off to Disney, simply because the resort itself is just that extraordinary!
Why We Love The Four Seasons, Orlando
There are so many special details that make this resort one of our favorite escapes. If you’ve ever followed along with one of our trips, you’ve likely seen us take advantage of its amazing amenities. These include a 5-acre water park with a lazy river, an infinity edge pool featuring “Dive In” movies, two water slides, and the most epic splash pad ever!
And while this would be enough to make any stay magical, it’s the unrivaled (and complimentary) kids’ camp that takes the cake. Kids aged 4-12 can enjoy the Kids For All Seasons programming, which our girls are wild about it! The counselors are top-notch, and many of them have been there long enough to remember Catherine as a baby.
These are two big reasons why we love this resort, but there are many more! Click here to read about all of the reasons why the Four Seasons, Orlando is a favorite destination for our family.
Ravello Restaurant
During last week’s trip, we were trilled to be invited to try the new Pasta & Play offering at Ravello, one of the on-resort restaurants. Ravello is anything but a typical Italian restaurant. In fact, just this fall this restaurant completed an assessment and accreditation process to become the first in the United States to achieve recognition of the “100 Percent Italian Taste Certification.” Additionally, it is a Michelin Recommended restaurant. To put it simply, it is absolutely delicious.
We’ve dined at Ravello many times over the years, and every time it has been wonderful. Curtis loves their Pizza Bianca and Meatballs Antipasta, while I love the Veal Ravioli with spinach, ricotta, wild mushrooms, and truffle essence. We have also made reservations to experience the character breakfast at Ravello, where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet while meeting Goofy and his pals. Needless to say, our girls loved this!
Pasta & Play at Ravello
And now with Pasta & Play, any guest dining at Ravello can unwind and savor the experience even more! This new complimentary service is for Ravello guests dining with kids ages 4-12. After the meal, the little ones get to play supervised games and activities on the sprawling lawn nearby with the Kids For All Seasons team, while the adults relax. Last weekend, it was after sunset by the time we finished dining, which meant glow-in-the-dark games. Our girls truly couldn’t wait to get out there! This complimentary service is offered Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with reservations via the Four Seasons App. Participating children just need to be picked up by 9 PM. And this timing actually works out perfectly if you’re hoping to catch the Epcot fireworks before bed, like we did!
A Favorite Family Getaway
Leave it to the Four Seasons, Orlando to dream up a way to encourage families to eat together, while also making sure restless kids have a way to get the wiggles out! Their thoughtfulness to anticipate the needs of their guests is a hallmark of the resort. For all of these reasons, the Four Seasons, Orlando continues to stay at the top of our list of our favorite family destinations!
