I’m not sure how many days we’ve had at home. I decided early on not to keep track, as I didn’t think a “count-up” would be quite as helpful as a countdown, where you actually have an end-date. But it has been long enough to know that some days I get dressed up – make up and all – because that is what I need that day. Some days I am in pajamas until I finally get to shower during Catherine’s nap. Whatever kind of day it is, one piece of clothing has emerged a front runner for quarantine MVP – the caftan.

So many deals and all of them still seem to be shipping pretty quickly. I own most of them and they are washing well (I hang to dry) and are so easy to wear! If I am ever worried about something being too see through (back when I used to leave the house) I wear a nude slip like this one. These go from pool cover-up, to home bound lounge wear, to night gown, depending on how your day is going! When I throw on some accessories. I feel especially put together!

The Blue and Turquoise Caftan from Willow Park Boutique is one of my go-to’s. It may not see beyond the walls of my house currently, but she’ll be taking a beachfront vacation in no time! The periwinkle floral Natori option may seem like it is strictly a nightgown but I actually have a shorter version from this brand that I’ve worn with slides and fun earrings and honestly get so many compliments! It just looks like a tunic! You can see it here on my girls trip to Naples this past fall.

This round-up includes my newest caftan crush, Sue Sartor. Just hop on her site and I dare you not to want literally every thing. Ths Lilly Pulitzer is in its way to me, as a bit of a splurge. I don’t know where I’ll be wearing it, and it might be my next grocery store outfit given the continued forecast of staying at home, but wherever it may be I’m excited!

The first three dresses in this group are Tory Burch, who is a master of effortless yet elevated, offering pieces that look as though they were collected on world travels but are just as appropriate for an evening dining barefoot and al fresco in your own home. The last dress, a Frances Valentine stunner in blue with pops of green, white, and yellow, looks like fresh and fun time. Perfect for a day that ends with your feet curled up on an outdoor chaise, and a cocktail in hand and surrounded by good company. The colorway reminds me of some of my favorite pieces in my home, our Schumacher Citrus Garden Pillows in the family room.

The caftans of my dreams. These can from poolside cover-up to black tie wedding with just a change of scenery and addition of a slip. I’ve seen it with my own eyes! The glam detail of each one takes my breath away – from floral cut outs to brocade, I just cannot get enough and one day might get my hands on one! They seem like the kind of frocks you keep for ever, and your little girls beg to borrow one day.
