Easily one of my most requested blog posts โ what should I wear to Disney? As with most things, style is so subjective and personal. Not to mention, if youโre planning a trip to Disney, you have to contend with the mystery that is Florida weather. Truthfully, youโll see a mix of everything at the parks. A lot of times my philosophy is to wear something that I like, that is comfortable, and throw on a pair of ears with it! When I pulled together outfit inspiration I did so with a range of temperatures in mind. If it is truly cold, your best bet is going to be jeans or leggings, a cozy sweatshirt or spirit jersey, and a jacket. But since the day can start at 40 degrees and overcast and tick on up to 75 and sunny before you know it, the name of the game is layers. In the summer I lean toward moisture wicking fabrics or the most breathable options, and wonโt regret having a poncho with you. Iโm never far from my MegaBabe Thigh Rescue and Bust Dust, and sunscreen is a must. For footwear, most Disney pros will tell you that comfort is key and for me that most often means tennis shoes. Every shoe linked is one that I have personally tested for all-day walking at the parks, but my number one pair are my Tretorns.ย ย
Besides comfort and functionality, my Disney dressing philosophy is to somehow coordinate with the theme of whatever park I am visiting. For Epcot, you can do so much. You can lean into your heritage and dress with a little homage to your background. Figment is a classic EPCOT character so youโll see a lot of him and in general a lot of purple and grey. There are lots of princesses at this park, so you can go that direction. Or a classic red, white, and black ensemble is always a win. Other movies people draw inspiration from here is Ratatouille, The Aristocats, and Frozen. Youโll see a lot of athletic wear, and sometimes youโll see people very dressed up. If I wear dresses I always have on bike shorts to prevent chafing and ensure modesty getting on and off the rides. I also try to coordinate with the girls. If they are more dressed up then so am I!
Depending on when youโre checking out this post, some items may be no longer available. Iโll try to provide updated ideas but in the meantime, I hope these serve at the very least as inspiration!
