It’s day one of GraceHamlin.com and I’m so glad you’re here! Whether it’s your first visit or one of many, I hope you how much of a privilege it is for me to be able to share and connect with so many incredible women each day.
When I started writing at GoingByGrace.com and posting on Instagram three years ago, I couldn’t imagine what would be in store. I don’t think most of us could’ve foreseen all the changes that have been brought on by the collective challenges of the last two years and counting. And through it all, I was glad to have this outlet and am thankful to have been able to grow alongside so many sincere and enthusiastic supporters.
It was time to freshen things up a bit, and so I worked with Kate Hammer, first as a consultant to help me hone in on my vision and the priorities of this enterprise. Then to help with creating branding imagery that felt like me. That’s where Meg Mason stepped in to pull it all together with two goals in mind. First, to freshen up my website and bring the branding work to life. And second, to get a GoingByGrace newsletter up and running. So now you can sign up to receive the first newsletter coming right up in August!
Much like when I first started, I don’t know where we’ll be in three years, but my hope is that this update makes it easier to navigate, read, shop, and stay connected. Seeing it all come together as I typed in GraceHamlin.com was a pinch-me moment. But what I love even more is knowing that I didn’t do it alone, and in fact got the chance to work with two more talented and creative women, who I’m happy to feature!

Kate Hammer Consulting
Kate is a woman of many talents, and with her 1:1 consulting she helps you focus on six things to help you grow your confidence and sharpen your vision for your brand or business.
Business Strategy: Once you know your mission, it’s time to take it and apply it to an overarching business strategy. This is where you set intentional goals in specific timeframes, with action steps to make them a reality so that every decision you make has a purpose to it.
Branding: Branding is about more than just the colors you like. It’s about the kind of message you send to the world. It’s who you are. A cohesive brand allows people to easily decide if you’re what they’re looking for or not (and because of it, it’s more likely that you are).
Website & Email: Your website is your digital home base, created to bring your mission, strategy, and branding together. When it does, every part of your website has an explicit purpose that serves and engages your customer. Your website also should include a place to collect emails, so that you can meet your customers where they’re at every single day: their inboxes.
Collateral: Collateral is comprised of business cards, notecards, invoicing, etc. where your brand is carried through. Each piece should link back to your website, where customers can get the most comprehensive view of who you are and what you offer. Your customers should be in your world whether viewed in digital or print. Your collateral should support continuity.
Social Media: The final step is to utilize social media as an opportunity to bring in and connect with customers. The content you create and connections you build should always lead back to your website. The social media landscape is always shifting and therefore should not be treated as a landing place. Imagine these platforms as doors to welcome in guests.
